The Qathet Peninsula

The qathet region lies between Toba and Jervis inlets, on the West coast North of Vancouver. Qathet includes the traditional territory of the Tla’amin and Sechelt peoples, and is the location of the settlements of Lund, Tsi-sho-sum,  Powell River, and Saltery Bay. This region is a vast landscape where the coast mountains reach the Salish Sea. Mountains, lakes, streams, and forests form a beautiful tapestry. This landscape is the home and inspiration for Tactile Terrain.
